Problems during the implementation of road investments on local government roads.
A panel devoted to the practical aspects of preparing and implementing road investments. The most common difficulties and challenges related to financing, tendering procedures and cooperation between the contractor and the road administrator will be discussed.

Panel II: ‘Personnel for infrastructure’
The needs and possibilities for renewing engineering personnel in relation to the current situation.
A panel devoted to the problem of the shortage of qualified technical personnel in the road infrastructure sector. The discussion will focus on both the current staffing situation and measures that can contribute to rebuilding engineering potential in local government units and the construction industry.
We will discuss the topics:
1. The higher and secondary education system (as exemplified by our Directorate, where nearly half of Poland has only a few classes specializing in road construction techniques). The question is: does the education system respond to the dynamic changes in digitalization and new construction technologies?
2. What factors encourage or discourage young people from working in infrastructure (salary, development opportunities, work-life balance)?
3. How can we improve the image of the infrastructure engineering profession?
